Inflammation and digestive issues are a huge problem for many people.
Regardless of the cause of your troubles, when it comes to your health, food can be your medicine. Even if changing your diet can’t resolve an issue completely, it can help.
For help those of you dealing with inflammation and digestive troubles, I formulated a smoothie recipe that can help provide relief.
The two key ingredients are turmeric and cannellini beans (also known as white kidney beans). I promise you, this shake is delicious, but it’s also pretty effective at alleviating inflammation, reducing pain and calming digestive issues.
Here’s what you need to get started:
¾ cup of cannellini beans: these will help to lower your blood sugars and make it so you digest carbohydrates a little bit slower.
2 tbsp of nutritional yeast: this will help to stimulate the production of red blood cells (because of the B12 content) which will provide you with energy. It’s also naturally high in protein.
2 tbsp of sunflower butter: this contains a significant amount of vitamin E, which will help lower cholesterol, is good for your skin, and can help alleviate inflammation in your digestive tract.
1 tbsp of powdered Turmeric, or 2-5 pumps of PuraTHRIVE Liposomal Blend: which is delicious, but also extremely effective at reducing inflammation throughout your body. It contains lipopolysaccharides, which stimulate your immune system and provide a cognitive boost.
2 tsp of powdered or a few drops of liquid stevia: which has microbial qualities that will help clean out bad bacteria from your gut.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk: which is a low sugar, low carb option that contains calcium, protein and other beneficial vitamins and minerals.
½ -¾ cup of ice: for texture
That’s all there is too it.
You just blend, and enjoy!
This smoothie is a powerful digestive aid that will help to naturally reduce harmful inflammation throughout your body.
A nice bonus: it tastes pretty awesome too!
